Hormone and Skin Loving Smoothie
Smoothies are one of my favourite ways to get lots of nutrients into your system, easily and deliciously. This smoothie is filled with healthy fats, skin healing properties, antioxidants and plant fibre.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of mixed frozen berries
- 1 big handful of baby spinach
- ¼ ripe avocado
- 1 tsp of cacao powder
- 1 scoop of collagen powder (I like Bovine best. This is completely optional, however fabulous for skin and gut health and an excellent source of protein)
- 1 tbs of LSA meal (Linseed, sunflower seeds, almonds)
- 1 cup of filtered water
- 1 cup of plant-based milk
Combine in a blender until smooth.
** If you are an energetically cold person (you experience cold hands and feet), then only have smoothies in warmer weather, as this can cool you down even further.
